I grew up where a lot of young people are still growing up today.
It was never really a motivation problem.
It was an identity problem.
For years, I believed people simply needed more discipline, more motivation or a better mindset. Looking back, I don't think that was the real problem.
Nobody hands you an operating system for life. You inherit an environment, a way of thinking and a set of behaviours long before anyone teaches you to question them. That's what eventually led me to create Crowned From The Curb.

The Story Behind CFTC
The Question
That Changed
Everything
For a long time I thought the answer was simple.
If people had more discipline, they would make better decisions. If they made better decisions, their life would improve.
But the more I looked, the more I realised discipline wasn't where the story began.
Most people never choose the beliefs, behaviours or expectations they grow up with.
They inherit them from the environment around them, often long before they are old enough to question any of it.

This changed the question I was asking.
